Re: How to play in a very loose game?
Hang in there, some days you will pull 30+ BBs and others you will lose. Theres so much variance. Keep to SSHE though and you should beat them.
One thing, over the past few days my biggest loser...

Re: Pocket nines against a low paired board
I think you raise here. You can knock out SB, and many times time BB is betting with top pair or an overpair. Raising here can give you a cheap showdown if a scarecard comes, as well as protects your...

Re: KK, overpair, coordinated flop
Preflop : Standard
Postflop : I like this call. You opponents have lots of draws that can beat you and you will have a huge advantage if a blank hits the turn.
Turn : Blank hits .. raise. Nice....

Re: flop decision
This is a good one because I just finished reading SSHE and this helps a lot in trying to apply what I read.

Re: River aggression
Check the river. You arent going to fold him at this point and you arent betting for value because you dont have anything but Ace high. I would take the free SD.

Re: Playing, not earning (non-hand post)
I thought I was doing pretty well with good starting hands standards and playing "aggressively" without really understanding *WHY* I was doing it. Well after losing 100 bucks ...
Reading SSH, and...

Re: A8o hand
I would fold too, I put villain with two pair .. or maybe he missed his flush draw and picked up a pair of 6's. But most likely you are playing from behind.

Re: 1/2 6max JJ
I would bet for information and for value. Although I would place UTG with an A or K and if he raises I would be careful .. also theres a nasty flush draw.
Im a noob though, so take it with a...

Read as much literature as you can. Critically think about why you do stuff.
On hand 2, why did the ace help you? Because your hand improved? I'd like to hear your response. (Hint: Hand...
