I would bet for information and for value. Although I would place UTG with an A or K and if he raises I would be careful .. also theres a nasty flush draw.

Im a noob though, so take it with a grain of salt

Nothing personal, so don't take offense, please.

1. betting/raising for information is 99% of the time INCORRECT. This is not one of those 1% times.

2. What value do we have to bet here? We are behind all normal preflop capping hands.

(grunching)

If you check and no one raises you might be getting close to hitting your pot odds (sorry,I am a beginner and don't have the table in front of me but I believe it's 1:21).

If you don't hit the turn fold.

-hero is oop being first to act
-pf capper is to our immediate left
-2 more ppl left to act after pf capper
-one overcard that has a high chance of hitting the pf capper if not either of the 2 other callers as well as the flush draw.

betting accomplished very little more than checking.

i like a check and seeing how the others react to the pfcappers action.

The pot is really big and this is six max so your Js might be good. I'd bet hoping UTG raises which might knock one or two players out.

If just called, I'd keep betting. If raised I'd call this down.

There's something to be said for this also. If it came three back to us for instance, we could easily fold. If it came two back to us, we could probably fold also.

I would check here. The one thing you have going for you in this hand is your relative position with respect to the likely flop bettor. If UTG bets the flop, you will get to see what everyone else does before you have to act. And since you will be closing the action when UTG bets, you don't have to fear a raise behind you. So you should take advantage of your relative position with your 2-out draw (where even the J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] is tainted) and get a cheap look at the turn. Even though you won't really have even the implied odds to call one bet, you should anyway, since the pot is huge, you would be closing the action, and there is a chance (albeit slight) that everyone will check the turn and you will get to see the river as well.

I am not sure if I'm right here but the average Party 1/2 6max capper can cap with a variety of hands. So based on that:

This looks more close to 1 out as Jd makes a flush. Our best chance to win the pot is if we are actually ahead. Betting the flop won't achieve anything better than paying 1 or more bets to see the turn.
So one possible line:
Check-call 1 bet and then try to donkbet the turn (if it doesnt help anyone-Ace,queen or diamond) and fold to a raise unless it goes HU with the PF capper.
