Re: no-limit 2-7 software
no-limit 2 to 7 draw lowball. It's also the last event before the main event at the WSOP (july 5). It's a great game but I have a feeling maybe no such software exists. If anyone knows of any...

Re: 76s perfect?
I would bet out on the turn for a pot size bet and try to take it down right there.
If it's called and we miss we we're done with the hand; if we hit there is a little bigger pot. 40% of the time...

Re: NL favorite thread list?
This would be cool, I'm pretty new to NL (been playing limit where they have a great one of these) or I would add myself. I'm going through some archives so if I find some good ones I will add too.

Not a standard play smart or stupid
Sorry but this needs a little setup otherwise this play is just stupid…
I’ve been running cold at 200 NL at the Commerce and have maybe played 3 hands in the last 2 hours. In fact the newest...

Re: Need help on starting hands!
I think the section on starting hands in HOH is great for tight aggr play and it is seperated into different situations (i.e. first one in, already a raiser etc.)

Re: Calling your hand incorrectly

some places start with the sb is the river checked through.

Do any do it differently? I think all the casinos in LA are this way.

Re: river decision.
I like the bet/fold to a raise line on turn. AT would likely call and even JJ at that point, only a better hand can raise. Only worse hand that might raise is JJ and it would be wrong. Probably got...

Re: $100 NL at the Commerce
Good point I probably bet a little too much but wanted to take it down right there.
The blind’s are 2-3 so the pot was $15 (actually $11 after rake).
Thanks for advice. I have just switched...

Re: Doyle \"The Great\"
I think this works better in a live game then online. If I am in late position I will limp and even raise very liberally after a win and find it has good results

Re: Sigfried and Roy Confused on the river

I don't think 22 calls a pre-flop raiser with this flop; not without being a REALLY bad player.

If I decide to play 22 in early position and get raised, I see the flop for...

But given that, would you lead out the river as I did? Would you call the raise to go to the showdown?

I would lead out on river and call the raise but I may be too loose...

Re: flopped the nuts, how many bets?
If he has KK and puts you on say QQ, then you can still get more bets out of him when a non club/heart blank falls. I vote for holding off after 4 or so raises on the flop and resume another few on...

Re: Sigfried and Roy Confused on the river
Would you bet with A2 on the turn here with a flop bet and 4 callers b/c I would check too w/ 2 players still behind me. Is that wrong? Could be 22 with a loose flop call or A8-A9?

Re: chopping the blinds
At low stakes games the rake is as big as the bb so if you don't chop you are seeing the flop just to get your money back if you win. In LA (and maybe all over) it is standard to chop even if you...
