Spirit Rock is not as consistent as he appears. Just because he has $35,000 at a table, doesn't mean he's up $30,000. He rebuys constantly, and before he builds up his big stack, he busts out plenty...

I think betting the river and calling is the correct play, as the BB could easily have AK or worse, and seeing the flush get there on an otherwise uncoordinated board, he would be inclined to check...
