i'm guessing this is either 1) a stupid joke or 2) a stupid post.

You clearly have little clue. Before making a statement like that, I'd suggest you ask top high-limit NL pros in Vegas, LA, and the Bay Area whether they think Matt's question is a good one. Many have the exact same doubts as Matt (not necessarily about SR, but about the game and players in general). The live NL pros either play or know the players in the UB game. Some choose not to play in the game at all. Others choose to not play when certain people are in the game. You should educate yourself a little bit next time before making more stupid posts.

Oh, it gets much better than that. He doesn't do it too often, but when he does, it's just great. It's also usually against unknowns (people taking a shot at the big game?), as far as I can tell. And it's usually the good kind of trash talk, that is, BEFORE he takes someone's money.

Spirit Rock now has over 60k at one table. Does he just never leave and keep building his stack?

Four hours ago, his stack was around $5000. I'm very jealous.

Are you sure that wasn't the other table where he still has about that much?

How to beat Spirit Rock?

Ask "Legendary" he just won a 27k pot against him. I think the best way to beat spirit rock is to flop top set when he's got an overpair.

That's one hell of a heads up match they have going on. SR got a 13k pot a few hands later when he turned the nut straight. Who is Legendary? He seems to be getting the best of the heads up match.

He may be getting the best of it now, but he is still in the hole. Most of SR's stack is from Legendary rebuying multiple times.

anyone find it odd that when spirit and legendary were sitting with eachother on two tables at once, that they were playing on the table where SR had like 6k and Legendary had like 15k. as opposed to the table where they both had over $25,000

i feel like i'm watching a cartoon there are so many big chips flying around.

I'm glancing at the SR v. legendary game avery couople minutes. Am I seeing htis correctly? Is Legendary playing horribly? Calling a huge bet with a paired board and 4 to a flush with a 6 high flush. And the other hand, board of 9xx two to a suit, they build a huge all in pt on the flop and spirit rocks unimproved A9 wins.
