Re: 2-4 Loose villan

[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]
The villain mixes it up, so he could have called preflop with 6 7 suited and hit a low straight or A 10 or K 10...

Re: 2-4 Loose villan

I think that the set or two pair are not the most likely hands for the villain to have. For 1, he might raise the flop with those hands, especially given the straight draw. Also, there are worse...

Re: 2-4 Loose villan

I would check, leaving an opportunity for him to attempt a bluff on the river or bet a lower straight.

AA tough decision

10 person, 1-2 nl. Villian has been sitting for 20 minutes and hasn't played many hands. I have a very loose aggresive image. I'm in the SB and he's on the button. 5 callers, 2 folds, button makes it...

Re: tough decision with AA

Sorry for the confusion. To clarify, I played standard pre-flop and super-aggressive post flop, making many raises, re-raises, and loose calls. Most of my bluffs were not shown, but my loose calls...

Re: 98s in CO

Well played. Typically when someone underbets the pot I think they are either begging for a raise, or the bet should be played as a check because they're just making a "feeler" bet. His check on...

Re: tough decision with AA

I had not re-raised once pre-flop so, correct me if I am wrong, I think they would have given me credit for a strong hand and all fold. I figured it'd be more profitable to have a couple players see...

Re: playing low cards against a loose table, when raised big preflop

playing low cards against a loose table, when raised big preflop

The other day I played in a very loose/weak 1-2 nl game. I was dealt 4 7 spades in the big blind on a full table. First 3 players limp, 4th raises to 10, 2 callers, button raises to 20, sb calls. Its...

Re: turn a set of queens but dont know if I like it

I would not be able to flat call the raise unless the opponent was super tight. He could make this raise with AQ two pair, AK, or may even be mixing it up. Unless his postflop play was super-tight,...

Is it worth risking chips to build a more profitable table image at stakes like 1-2 or 2-5 nl? For example, is it worth raising preflop with weak hands, and showing the hand if people fold? Or,...

finding games

I was wondering if anybody knows of any poker clubs in central Jersey... Atlantic City is too far for me to go regularly, so if you know of any places I'd appreciate the help.
