AA tough decision
10 person, 1-2 nl. Villian has been sitting for 20 minutes and hasn't played many hands. I have a very loose aggresive image. I'm in the SB and he's on the button. 5 callers, 2 folds, button makes it 7, I call, and 3 others call. I have A s, A d.
I have $230, villain has $300. Flop is Q s, 10 s, 8 c. Pot is 41. I bet out 25, 3 folds, villain raises to 100. What should I do? |

Re: AA tough decision
With that many limpers you need to reraise this preflop...
This hand should be posted in SSNL forum. |

Re: AA tough decision
I've posted in both forums, and I find the this forum has much sounder and more insightful feedback. Also, the players on this table were comparable to many 2-5 nl players i've played because it was a very strong table. So, despite the stakes, its pretty applicable.
Also, I should mention that I played standard pre-flop but super-aggressive (profitably) postflop, so I just called preflop in hopes of building a pot. My loose postflop image would get me more action by doing this, I hoped. |

The fact that you’re defending your preflop play further shows that you don’t belong here. The fact that you have a loose image makes reraising preflop even better. You don’t want 5 way action out of position with AA. The way you played it, you have a pretty easy allin…..If you get stacked, it’s probably because you did not reraise before the flop. |
