Re: AQo UTG: what to do against a position bettor
Well, I wasn't the one with AQo... but started thinking about how I might play the hand if I were AQ.
I thought that the button would be on a draw. Perhaps raising and betting out again on the...

Re: How long can we tilt for?
You're treating tilting like you can't help it. It's a mental thing. You're going to have to get on with it. It's one hand. You lost. MOVE ON. You'll win the next one.
You can't win every hand you...

Re: what do i do?
1. Your raise was WAY too small. 500 at least IMHO
2. This flop sucks for your QQ. You're behind any hand that would raise, or call a raise. While you DO have outs to Broadway, a Ten isn't likely...

Re: I\'m I overplaying QQ
I agree. If you KNOW you're ahead in this hand. Push. You need to take a few chances early on in the tourney anyway. Taking them with a good hand is ever better. If they draw out, so be it. Move on...

Re: Trips with good kicker
I think you need to throw in a three bet on the turn. The odds of you both hitting a strong set aren't very good. I'm guessing he's on a high pair JJ-KK. I wouldn't slowdown on this one.

Re: comments on all streets
I think at some point you have to believe you're beat here. Personally I would've just called in EP with TT on an agresso table.
Flop: I'm not too sure I like the check raise here. With a bet and...

Re: Flopping trips vs a pro
What more could you be looking for with your ATo? The flop was great, if he flopped a boat... well so be it. It happens.
If it's me I'm either doubled up or going home on this hand.
Something...

Re: anyones girlfriend play poker?
I think it's easier to try and get your wife/girlfriend into playing poker than to not to. She'll get upset about all the time your spending playing and not with her. If she can play, then you can...

Re: BEWARE OF THE BOTS!
While bots ARE out on the market, I think you're being a bit overly paranoid about it. They're out there, but you don't run into them every day.
Sometimes poker player over think things.... this...

It is the same. You'll do fine.
Some advice... Buy plenty of maps. Locals are generally hard to deal with. Everything is "up the road a wee bit"... which can mean anything from 1 mile to 20 miles.

Re: Confused and Frustrated
While your post was great, I don't think playing a TAG game is always right. There are other ways to win at poker and sitting and folding your life away isn't always correct.
Perhaps I should...

With a little more detail added to what you meant by "don't change your game", I agree with you. Basically, don't go on tilt. lol.

Re: How to make a deal w/ a money backer?
I would shoot for the 50/50. Given he's not backing you a whole bankroll, and it's just a few buy ins for tournaments 50/50 would probably work well for you.(and him for that matter).
If it's...
