Re:A HPFAP reference
"hopeless reasoning"- strong words Louie. Read HPFAP 21st cent.; pg157-158. "...manipulating the pot size into one that is most likelyto be a size where they make errors."- hopeless?- I guess...not...

Thanks for the feedback and analysis. Albeit, much of it is one dimensional (not intended to be a slight, just an observation…I expected more!!) /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Repeat: Never check a set of aces against 4 opponents!
Altogether now!: Never check a set of aces against 4 opponents!

Come on Yerma, You're kidding right? Just trying to confuse'em right?
Your aggressive style may be appropriate in some situations and games, but to apply it to ALL situations is contrary to good...

Re: Help me find a couple of things in HPFAP
This is not right- on page 74; 3rd paragraph: HPFAP 21: It talks about slow-playing, and that slow-playing a set of aces in not smart (except when you have very aggressive players and you can induce...

Re: big old slick
So your pacifism has led to more aggrevation- you should've told her off and called her a two-legged-dog whore. Or something simple like, "shut the f*** up lady or I'll rip your t***s off!" of...

The ever-vulnerable AA (A.K.A. rubber-bullets)
There’s nothing too special about a pair of aces, but this hand was interesting in the way it was played. I’d like opinions on the flop and turn plays especially:

"a straight flush possible if not likely given the action"
Interesting assumption. How often have you lost an A-high flush or top-boat to a str8 flush in your whole experience? I think this is...

Re: KK against flop re-raise
Hi mikeca,
Did you think about what he thought about you? Seems too sophisticated for micro limits, but there are some real players down there sometimes. Looks like a semi-bluff/ image play to me...

Re: Flopped set - misplayed on every street?
Bankroll considerations aside...in a loose/ passive game (i.e. less than 30% of pre-flop is raised, and 4+ players are constantly seeing the flop, and after the flop they can't fold bottom pair or...
