Re: KK, 3/6 NL i suxors
I would fold this turn and not give it a second thought. I would think you have the best hand here maybe 10-15% of the time. The rest of the time villains should have either A4x, 33/44/55/66 maybe...

I start with $1500 chips have $900 or so left after being forced to race a short stack and losing with AK.
Blinds are $25/25 its still the first hour.

Re: KK facing huge overbet (Party 11)
The guy is tight. That does not mean he's an idiot. While once in a while people use reverse reverse psychology like this, its not worth worrying about. Be happy, click call, and move on. This is...

Re: So I folded AK on the bubble
I don't think its a clear call by any means. But I also think its clearly not an easy fold. I ran some math and you can argue with the specifics, but the general conclusions is that its about a...

Re: Two 200+15 hands
Is 4:1 with a small chance you get the other 1000 from the SB enough to make this bet? What I dont like about the call in the first hand is that you will never have any sense where you are unless...

Re: So I folded AK on the bubble
OK too much agreement here so I might as well throw in a dissenting view as food for thought. I don't think its a no brainer fold. I am after EV, not minimizing variance. While I agree you fold...

Re: 3rd in chips but shortstacked, how to play?
[ QUOTE ]
Saying if you were shorter stacked youd push doesnt make any sense - if you were 1700 would you push? But the only time it matters that you aren't 1700 is when the 3000 stack calls you,...

Re: 3rd in chips but shortstacked, how to play?
Am I the only one who would consider folding this hand UTG? If you get called you are 50/50 if lucky and 20/80 if unlucky. SOmetimes a small pair will call, but I would think a big pair would call...

Re: Call?
Fold. Would sure help to understand the player better. Could easily be a hand like 76s.
Agree with above on bet sizes costing you information and also too many draws.
He obviously may be...

Re: can i fold KK pre-flop ?
Nope. Only AA has you beat. And its a wierd way to play AA anyway. To me AA makes a smaller raise than this. If he has AA I pray and move on to the next SNG.
I put him on AK or a TT-QQ. I...

Re: AK 1st round, A on flop
I disagree with the bet on the turn. You have shown appropriate aggression preflop and made a flush or straight draw a dicey call on the flop. Your opponent has to know that AK is a strong...

it's early
without a read don't go broke with JJ but that's why I limp with JJ in LP even with only one limper... Bet the over pair and fold to a reraise. Maybe that's a little...

As my title reveals I am only a "stranger"; but i dont know how/why you would have played this hand more strongly than you did.
You made a greater than pot sized raise. As luck would have it you...

Re: Issues with the 30+3\'s, help please (long)
Very hard to know given the lack of other info here, but the distribution of outcomes suggests to me that you are playing pretty tight early, and therefore often making it to the final 5-7 players...
