Re: Who will die on tomorrows episode of lost?

IIRC, during the previews when they said that "one of these survivors will be lost forever" or something like that, one of the shots showed the back-of-the-plane survivors, so I think it's just going...

Re: Help me build my mp3 collection. Letter S

Most of the good stuff has been mentioned, but I didn't see these two:

Sloan
The Stone Roses

They both have greatest hits CD's, so I'd start with those.

Re: all-in or raise?

Easy all-in. You are still short stacked, and desperately need those blinds. I'd push with a lot less.

The fact that someone may think your stealing and look you up with a less than premium hand...

Re: BB Hand...What to do on flop?

You have a great hand, and are either way ahead or slightly behind (excepting a set). The problem is that this flop is unlikely to have hit your opponents, unless they have a queen, whose kicker is...

Re: 2nd pair in blind battle

I think PF, flop, and turn are all good.

I think you are worth another value bet on the river (maybe 150 or so). I don't think any hand that makes two pair on the river would limp and call your PF...

Re: Wow, good call.

I take it, from it's absence on the posts above, that none of you have ever heard "The Addams Groove" by MC Hammer. I envy you all.

Re: Commerce 100 + 1 rebuy

If the BB was a normal stack, I'd think that the dead money in the pot makes this an auto-call, since you are getting 2-1. However, since the BB is already all-in, there is no dead money in the...

Re: My 2 years

All this talk about bike stealing, I couldn't help but be reminded of one of my favorite Kids in the Hall sketches.

Here's (http://www.kithfan.org/work/transcripts/three/bikewheel.html) a...

Re: going down to AC tonight

I played NL at the Borgata for the first time a couple weeks ago (1-2, not 2-5, although they did have 2-5 games running). From what I understand, the wait list at the Borg will probably be crazy...

Re: *Official* Party 350k Guaranteed Sunday

I raise on the button at bubble time with T7o. 2 short stacks in the blind. BB uses his time bank, waits until the bubble bursts, and calls with A7.

Ten comes on the board...

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Beth Orton - Stolen Car
Sebadoh - Ocean...

Re: World Series Qualifier, short stacked with T8s

I'd push every time. I gather that you are the shortest stack, so waiting for other opponents to drop would seem to not be worthwhile. Therefore, you need chips, and this would seem to be a good...

Re: Proposition bet during a hand... what would you do?

First thought: XXXX you, XXXXer! Let's gambool!

Second thought: I'm drawing to four outs, let's deal.

Math thought: I'd forgotten about the extra outs on the river by pairing the turn card. I'm...

Re: Do you think I owe this guy money?

Lemme get this straight:

You -> Minor Scumbag $50
Party -> You $50
Minor Scumbag -> You $50

Cancel out the dealings with the minor scumbag, and it looks like you owe Party the $50, not the...

Re: Bet myself into a Jam with JJ

Brutal, but I think that there is enough of a chance that this is a bluff/flush draw that you gotta call.

There is also the runner-runner straight suck-out option, which I can highly recommend...

Re: Party $109, a bet and a raise

Everyone seems to want to fold. Hero (or Villain /images/graemlins/mad.gif) actually re-raised all-in. MP2 folded. MP3 thought for a while and then, getting about 3:1, called.

I was actually MP3....
