Re: Some answers to the requests

That makes perfect sense. Why would anyone want a couple thousand dollars if they have to wait a whole month?

Re: Can\'t Get Paid Off?
[ QUOTE ]
What am I supposed to do if someone calls and the flush hits and I don't hit a boat? He bets big and I can't call? Or do most players slowplay and bet big on the next round giving me...

Re: RSS feeds
I use Sage with Firefox, works great. On a related note, wouldn't it be grand if they added RSS here?

Move of Honor (oops)
I've been learning to like the "Move of Honor", in moderation.
This hand came up after I won two hands in a row.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter...

Re: Official NL Open Internet Challenge - Week 1
I'll be starting this challenge as well, albeit a bit late.
Played .10-.25 at Stars last night, had a little trouble adjusting to the game from $25NL on Party.
It seemed much more passive,...

Re: my hard drive is wasted
Quick suggestion: Get a little USB memory stick or drive. They're cheap insurance, and can hold up to 1GB of data.

Relative game size?
I was talking with a friend a bit ago, and we were trying to figure out the relative size of a 2-5 blind NL game, and a 5-5, no max buy-in on either game. I think the 2-5 would be around 10-20 limit...

I played a hand at PS 1-2 NL last night that has me wondering what a good player would have done.
I'm in the BB with $198 (posted behind the button this round).

Re: This one was new to me.
I can recall a hand at Canterbury, when the room had just opened. 15-30 stud, I'm the only guy that folds. A friend walks by, so I turn away for a moment to chat with him. When I turn back, there's...

Here's a hand I played tonight, I offer it for comment.
I'm not sure that I can get away from the hand on the flop,
but I'm pretty sure my re-raise to get rid of Sharpie82 was
the wrong play.
