No Limit Hand
Here's a hand I played tonight, I offer it for comment.
I'm not sure that I can get away from the hand on the flop, but I'm pretty sure my re-raise to get rid of Sharpie82 was the wrong play. Re: No Limit Hand
You are probably beat by underdog34 on the flop. He might be raising with a flush draw but he probably has you beat.
If you raise preflop (not so much though) and then bet out strongly on the flop you have shown some strength. You also get a call and then he raises you. He probably has 44 or 99 and donīt want anyone to see another flush card cheap. If underdog34 is a quite ok player I would probably let go of my hand right there and realise that the chance of me having the best hand is not that great, and even if I have, itīs hard to extract any more money from him with the hand. |

Re: No Limit Hand
-Raise more pre-flop
-when you bet $20 on the flop, Sharpie82 calls, and underdog34 raises the minimum you have to realize 2 things: A)Underdog is not trying to buy it B)You have at best 5 outs and probably need runner-runner (assuming you are up against a set) |
