Re: getting started in NL
1. Seeing as you come from shorthanded limit and like defending your blinds, I would recommend starting in shorthanded NL. However, you do get put into many more marginal situations that, if played...

Re: repost in small stakes
Sorry. MP# should raise preflop/continuation bet flop. Check turn. Bet/call river.
The way it was played on the river MP3 should just call river.

Re: ui vs. oooooooooooo
Where you been lately homie? Missed my awesome +1200BB run this weekend. All my hands are boring though.... It's weird, whenever I get put to a decision for all my chips I have either top set or 5...

Re: Bad villains bad villains whatcha gonna do?
Villain is musicboy1. You probably have a much better read on him than I so I'm curious what you think. I'm just recently starting to not do other tasks (very bad habit) while playing poker and use...

Bad villains bad villains whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
5-10 NL at Pokerroom, 7 handed, I have $1557 in the SB and villain has ~1800 in the BB. Read on villian is he's loose (something like 45-17 PT stats) and...

Re: What do you think?
No problem sir, I'm sure the few times I dabble in limit play I make far far worse mistakes.
"Hmmm, I know he has an overpair but if I bet every street I'll blow him off it!" type thinking doesn't...

D\'oh
Not sure how I overlooked this. Checking the turn is certainly the right play against opponent's range of hands. I stand by my comments granted Hero DOES bet, but I agree with the turn check for all...

Re: 5/10 uknown player takes wierd line
I find myself in this type of situation a lot. I have a pretty good hand that I lead with from the blinds. Then someone minraises. I would fold to a "real" raise but I find myself always calling the...

Re: sticky bluff that caught
You don't think villain could check a flush draw on the flop then check it again when he hits hoping the hero will stab? I can definitely see this line, and I think this is far far far more likely...

Re: QQ Facing a weak bet
Raise him, I'd say 20xBB to go. Hope for a fold.
If he calls, I'm shutting down and check/folding a real bet on the turn and river unless I hit a queen. If he makes more small bets I'll call him...

Re: Easy call?
Fold. Though it is possible that due to your LAG image villain is doing this with something you beat, a flush is still quite likely, and vs a flush you are drawing to two outs. However, any nonflush...

Re: Low End of Straight
The low end of a straight is not a hand you can slowplay. Even if a Q, J, 7, or 6 doesn't make a hand that BEATS you, it will likely kill any action you would have gotten from worse hands. Thus, you...

Re: sticky bluff that caught
It seems like you are likely behind here. Villain is likely either raising in some way preflop with AA QQ and TT. Also, with those stats it seems he would likely raise AQ as well? That could be...

Re: What do you think?
You did get very lucky (which you know) and it seems like both of you overvalue hands. I would say the flop allin with KK is abominable as well, but probably still is better than the call of KQo out...
