Re: Spewing? TT 25NL Stars
Villains stack was so small that putting him all-in is fine. He's committed. You'll run into JJ/QQ sometimes but case 9x, 88, 77, 66, 55, 65 etc is much more likely.
Don't check the turn. Two...

Re: AA - faced with an all in on turn
Usually with a set the line is to check/raise the turn. An odd play that way. Maybe villain thought that you could fold an overpair to a check/raise? You are beat. Fold.
Don't ever anymore...

Re: Poker Room 1-1 NL, AJs hand.
I wouldn't bet the river. The draw won't pay you a penny but AA, QQ, 44, 88,77, AQ, A4, A8, A7 will pay or raise. Villain played the hand strangely. He doesn't seem to be a very good player. If you...

Re: Simple situation
I think calling is -EV. It's hard to get a situation after flop where there are easy to make decisions. Re-raise is completely different thing than a raise. Against AK, QQ-AA virtually every time.

Re: How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?
Go all-in. There is a chance for a KK or QQ to fold.
[160$ stacks on flop] Against AA your EV is about 20$, against KK 70$, against QQ 100$. If everybody folds you gain 200$.
You should bet...

I don't rely on information about how long it takes to think because of network delays. But I've extracted some pretty good reads from aggressive players who decide preflop that they are going to...

Re: Last time was perfect, what to do now?
I've been thinking about river bets lately. I called and lost this hand. Sad thing was that he rivered me.
It seems that a stereotypic 100 NL player either overbets the pot on river or puts in a...

Re: does anyone raise this river?
I put the Villain on Jx betting for nice value on river. Most players would bet this flop (draw possibilities) with a set. With that action a full house is a rarity I think. Definitely raise the...

Re: PP 100 NL 6 max: Sick and weird action
I didn't lead on the flop because I'm "certain" that one of the other players is going to lead anyways. I hadn't bet on the flop every time I had raised preflop so a check shouldn't look too...
