Re: Cost of the Rake

Average rake/hand: $1.19
With 5.3 players at the table (also from PT) this...

Cost of the Rake
According to your data how much do you pay in rake at a typical 5/10 or 10/20 6max game on party? I have heard estimates of 1.5BB/100, is this accurate?

BB/hr
General Question.
When people refer to BB/hr... do they mean big bets per hour (i.e., $10 in a 5/10 game) or do they mean big blinds per hour ($5 in a 5/10 game).
Thanks for the...

Pre-Flop Hand Rankings
Hi. I was just wondering what you guys thought of this pre-flop hand ranking for a typical Party Poker (5/10) 6-player game. Any glaring errors? These are the top 62 hands (I believe).
72 AA...

Least Volatile Game
What would you say the least volatile internet poker game is?
Is it short handed? Full? What limit?
I am also assuming that the more tables you play at once... the less volatile.

SB: Folded to you
Lets say you are playing a 6max game and its folded to you when you are SB... is it ever worth it to limp here? Or is it always a raise/fold? Limping here seems pointless to me.
If you agree...

Re: DUDE! Are you serious?
Not only that when u can invest 10K to play in a tourny... the least u can do is spend $120 on your kids. $30 an hour seems inexpensive to me for a professional service in vegas.

This hand depends on how well your opponent plays.
There are 2 strategies:
1) check and call the whole way (if you think you probably have him beaten (i.e. you put him on AK or something))

If he had an ace, I think there was a good chance that he would raise you pf. If its folded to him, and he is SB and has an ace... your typical party...
