Re: Pokerstars Bonus Math
One of the best ways to clear the stars bonus is via sit n go's. Stars gives 5 FPP's per $1 of tourny fees so sit n go's and tournys are played rake free.

Re: O Doyle\'s Army - WE WANT YOU!
I am interested. Poker Rewards has a standing offer already. The terms are absurd but there is no time limit. They are looking for 2 million hands. Upon completion of 2 million they will send you...

Re: Absolute Poker Opinions
The last couple of times have been weekends. I don't know that there is much demand for a game at that level weeknights.

Re: Absolute Poker Opinions
I agree regarding Seif. I am not impressed with his play. A lot of people watch the final table of the WPT tourneys and justify what they see by saying they didn't play that way to get there. ...

Re: Absolute Poker Opinions
I think the claims of this place being a rock garden are restricted to the 1/2 limit games. As you move up, this place is a great place to play. The 3/6 games are good, the 5/10 are better and the...

Re: Plaza tournaments
Last time I was in Vegas, I won the midnight tourney. If memory serves, there were about 60 entries. The play was very loose passive and the blind levels were reasonable. I think it was 20 min/per...

Re: Ax suited question
In a large tourney in the latter stages I would agree. However, in a single table or the very early stages of a MT, suited aces have a higher implied value. The reason for this is the potentially...

Re: poker sites for tournaments
UB also has $100 tournies daily with fewer than 200 people. The other advantage to these is how easy it is to get tourny entry chips. I have also found that on stars, the sats to the bigger...

10 person vs 9 person
Is there truly a difference in the results between these two? Intuition tells me that you would cash more frequently at the 9 person tables but the prize money is correspondingly lower.
My record...

Re: Full Tilt Bonus Clearing strategy
Playing 5/10 clears the bonus at a respectable rate. I played 3/6 for a while but all those $18 pots really suck when you are wanting rake to be taken.

Re: PPM Semis
Average start last night was just over 2500. I'm assuming this average goes down as the days pass because most won't have 8000 extra chips to spread.

Re: About Mattias Anderson
I've also played with Mats quite a bit on Pokerschool. What I find interesting is his relatively weak play towards the end of the tourny. His style is typically very aggresive. The final few...

Re: PPM Semis
Do you guys have a preference on getting to the semis? The single table format seems easier but I am tempted to try the multis due to the cheaper cost. Any thought are appreciated.
