Sorry to disapoint you, but I don't use any rerouting or conceiling device. Just plain "I'm an average guy who has no idea how to cheat" connection.

How about Poker Tracker? Last month there was a thread indicating that Empire views PT as a type of bot. There has to be a common element.

Let's try to get to the botton of this. Would love to hear from the people who have had accounts closed at empire.

1) Do you have accounts at multiple party skins?

2) If you play at multiple party skins, which site do you also have accounts at?

3) Do you only play at empire when bonuses are offered?

4) If you only play at empire during bonuses, what limits do you typically play?

5) Do you have more then one account at empire?

Let's see if any trend emerges from this....

[/ QUOTE ]

I have not had any of my accounts frozen

1. I have accounts at all of the Party skins
2. 90% of my play at Empire goes on only when I am working off a bonus. So I do play at other times but very rarely.
4. I typically play 1/2 6 max when working off bonuses
5. I only have one account at Empire

Rumor has it that the new software upgrade has security measures to scan for IP's as well as MAC addresses. The sites are aware that people use multiple ID's and are constantly looking for ways to stop this.

[/ QUOTE ]

If this is the case more power to them. The people who have multiple accounts on one site deserve to have their accounts closed and funds frozen. Whether that site is Empire or any other poker site.

I thought the vast majority of the people concerned in this thread had only 1 account.

1. Yes

2. I have one account each at Party, Empire, Multi, InterTops, Eurobet, and PokerNow.

3. I have accounts at about 12 different sites. For the first year and a half, I played at other sites only when there were bonuses. Then I would return back to Empire. I considered Empire my "home". That changed about 3 months ago when I opened an account at Eurobet for rakeback. now Eurobet is my "home".

4. I played all bonuses at whatever limit I was currently playing at when a bonus was not being offered. At first it was $1-2 but in the end I had migrated up to $3-6.

5. No

I am at work which means I can't log into my Empire account from here. However, I can still log into "My Account" at www.empirepoker.com if that means anything. I figure I am probably safe because of all the playing I did there for the first 18 months of my online time.

For those who have had their accounts closed, did you try to log in through www.empirepoker.com as well? If so, did that give a message also?

If only the Empire VIP program had been worth a darn then I would have had no desire to make the switch to Eurobet. At this time, I assume my Empire account has NOT been closed since I can log in to the website.

I have not yet tried checking other skins....

Oh, I have $0.13 in my Empire account currently.

If you don't have multiple accounts on Empire, then the comment did not refer to you.

I live in a university dormitory. I'm fairly sure that my IP address is the same as anyone else that resides in the dormitories, no? Do you think they will assume I'm using multiple IDs? Also, the address on my empire acct isnt the same as my school address.
