RESULTS and some thoughts
Flop:
I don't like a check/raise here since I really don't know where I am in the hand. I could have up to 15 outs, but I could also only have 3. (Someone has the Ad and either my K or J...

Re: stats for typical opponent at 5/10 and 10/20
[ QUOTE ]
I once asked here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=headsup&Number=2933645&fpart=1&PHPSESSID=) how many opponents people regarded as "decent" at each level. This...

Re: Worst possible river, still easy value bet?
[ QUOTE ]
Checking the river is terrible, you get called by lots of hands you beat when you bet but who check through when you check. I don't think calling a raise is a crying call either.

RESULTS
UTG had 93o and MHING.
(I might be biased because of te results. I realise that I didn't make it clear _how_ loose he was preflop with my "read".)

My thoughts
Preflop: The chance that I will take the pot down uncontested on the flop against this lineup is very very small. So if I raise preflop it is only for value. But their hand ranges are so wide that I...

My thoughts about the hand.
Checking the turn in this situation is too weak right? Sure one of them could have a K and not raise it since they are passive. But they could also call the flop with a 5 or a 3, A-high or a smaller...

Re: 10/20 v 5/10 (semi-whine)
Your sample size if of course a problem. But, the 10/20 game is a lot tougher than 5/10. The biggest difference is the aggression from loose players. There are far more loose and passive players at...

I disagree. IMO, CR'ing the flop should be your standard. Everytime you decide to continue past the flop in a HU steal situation, you should consider taking this course of...

I think it sounds reasonable, especially if you need something to motivate you to play more. Also if you get "paid" by the hour you might care less about downswings and bad sessions since you get...
