I think it sounds reasonable, especially if you need something to motivate you to play more. Also if you get "paid" by the hour you might care less about downswings and bad sessions since you get paid the same anyway. Just make sure that you don't pay yourself too much so you might put your bankroll at risk. (Estimating your winrate after only 30k hands is not very easy. You might be a 3 BB/100 player or you might be a 1.5BB/100 player who has been lucky so far.)
