Does it seem to anyone else that when raising from late position blinds come flying over the top way too much? I'm not used to that in smaller tournies? Or is it just possible they are catching a...

Re: AAAx(s)/AAAA

[ QUOTE ]
You should only play AAA2 or A222, maybe AAA3, AAAA is nearly useless unless you're playing heads up, since there is no way for you to hit trips and your high pair is not going to hold up...

I am paticularly interested in the odds of making a full house with 4...

Re: What are the odds after a deal that AA and KK are dealt?

Sounds like a question for the probability forum.

Lets see.. 1 in 220 that you will get KK, and then ABOUT 9 in 220 that someone else will get AA in a 10 handed game. Multiply those together...

$4/$8 - Does it send a bad message to lay this down?

At our local $4/$8 table there are two guys who play fairly tight, and super aggressive. They let their ego run their betting a lot. I always sense an aura of "He can't be playing a dominating...

Help explaning something obvoius about probability

I recently got into an argument with a dealer of all people, and he claims that the odds of flopping a set change with the number of people in the hand. He says that with 10 people in the hand there...
