Re: KQ makes a move on the turn
(in the dark, critique welcome)
PF raise is good - but I would definitely raise the flop to protect your hand, especially with the coordinated flop. Good raise on the turn, I'd call the river bet...

Re: How do you play this turn?
(in the dark, critique welcome)
I wouldn't raise this PF against so many in pot. When raised on the turn, and the raise is cold called by the button, I'm guessing I am way behind, perhaps down to...

Re: Interesting hand/river decision
*in the dark, critique welcome*
I'm calling the river here. Not so much worried about UTG+1 as CO. If I was headsup with UTG+1, I'm raising here.

Re: question for fellow SSHE readers
Probably already been said but....
I'd trade ALL my starting hand charts, concepts, books, etc - to be better postflop. I started using SSHE tight, and have adapted over time to reading table...

Re: betting frenzy quandry...now with hand!!
*in the dark, plz critique*
I am SOOO raising this turn. Have to charge UTG at least 2 bets to stay in. Even better, might have lost UTG and wound up headsup on the river with better odds and...

Re: Q9 hand...good fold or weak play?
*in the dark, critique at will )
I'm calling the turn, possibly behind, ready to fold river UI. I'm putting the Button on some overpair, A-J with a Q, or worst-case scenario, possibly a made set...

Re: Do I go to war?
*please critique at will*
This is one of the leaks i'm struggling on - knowing when to slow down and when not to fear "monsters under-the-bed", so...I'm probably wrong. (guide me, experts!)

Re: I hate pocket pairs even more...
(in the dark, criticism welcome)
Hard to answer without reads/stats, but I'll look at this like I just jumped on the table.
Hero should raise the flop. Without reads it is the only way to try...

Re: AJo - postflop plan
*In the dark, please critique*
i'm betting out since my hand is likely the best. If raised, i'll probably call and re-evaluate on turn (depending upon position of raiser). If i get a call (or...

Re: Fun with QQ in CO - how\'s my line?
Thanks for the guidance, pretty obvious that missing the PF raise was a big mistake. I also agree about capping the river, although my guts were screaming that I was beat when he raised and I felt...

Fun with QQ in CO - how\'s my line?
Wanted to check my line here - in review, maybe I should have reraised preflop, but little knowledge could be gained from that, since I had seen mid/lo pockets and hands like A 10o 3 bet before the...

Re: Playing 2-pr versus aggressive players
*in the dark, critique welcome*
Regardless of the aggression factor of the villian, I'm raising the flop here, especially with 2 of one suit on board, since this 2 pair is extremely vulnerable.

Re: my first use of 3rd level thinking....
*in the dark, critique welcome*
Unless if I'm developed a table image of a constant bluffer, I'm betting the turn here. You might need improvement to win, but it is a larger sized pot. 1.7 isn't...

Re: Standard call?
*in the dark, critique welcome*
Seems like an intuition-based decision here. Without any more read on the player, and since I would normally call w/ a K in BB against this kind of bet, I would...

Re: One out of the money with a decent BB hand
*in the dark, critique welcome*
IMO going forward with this mediocre hand when you are on the bubble and another player is so close to being blinded out is a mistake. Fold and make it up later.

Re: AQ - 10+1 pushing with a limper in level 5

This situation I would definitely push, without worrying about the limper too much. At this stage you are effectively crippled if you don't increase your stack...

I wouldn't be risking my stack on a draw in Lvl III, even this good of one, especially when my push probably pushes other overcallers out of the pot. I'm calling...
