Re: Looks like Party Reloads are out...

I have a question. Did anybody get the "points" offer who DOES NOT have money in their Party account?

Re: Intertops application denied - Update

I went ahead and called Intertops to inquire about why my account was denied. The first question the person from support asked was "Do you have an account with Empire Poker or Party Poker". I...

Party $20-2: Top pair weak kicker in BB

Early in a SNG, what is the line you would take if you flop top pair weak kicker from the Blinds. I generally check/fold the flop if somebody bets and lead the turn if it is checked around and no...

AA - bad board

How was this hand played up until the river? Looks like a river value bet, is this a pretty easy fold?

82s in the BB

Is this a good way to play a drawing hand out of the BB against multiple opponents? The little picture of a rock by Villians name made me nervous about getting called down.

I agree, nice play, I think that I would of done the same thing. By pushing here you protect the hand and you win a ok pot size.

AQ against loose opponent.

The CO has been playing very loose. Likes to call raises with just about anything. I had seen him min-raise with KK a few hands earlier.

Should I be re-raising a min-raise here against a loose...

Mid-pairs on undercard flop

What do you do when you play a mid pair for set value and the flop comes all under cards? They are very tempting to play but I think may be costing me money. I realize this is very dependent on the...

How do I play this hand better?

I would normally fold this pre-flop. Not sure why I called the raise....

On the flop should I:

a) Lead the betting
b) check call
c) check raise
d) fold

Keep in mind that any significant...

Another hand for analysis.

No reads on UTG+1. I generally like to avoid min-raises on coordinate boards like this one. Anything more than a min-raise pot-commits both of us so I just pushed here. Is this a case where I'm...

Re: Bad Play ?

Arizona played that hand much worse than you did. He should be open pushing/raising from that position with AQ....and would have won the pot uncontested. Then, he leads out with a weak bet and...

Re: Good fold or misplayed?

Pushing pre-flop is probably the best idea. I wouldn't call here with your stack size.

Re: Ever worry about oversets?

I guess I should have capitalized VERY SPECIFIC. I should have just said no because I've never been in a situation where I would have done this. But I'll give an example anyway.

You are on the...

Re: KQ Bad Play?

A min-raise UTG from a weak/tight player? This should set off warning bells. Folding KQs is pretty weak in this situtation with the stack you have but I think I fold pre-flop. You can't possibly...

Re: more fish stix

I'm not so sure this was a terrible idea. I would want to raise here but the question is how much. At the standard 3xBB + 2xlimpers that would make the raise about 300 which is getting close to...

Very true, I never considered that. I was doing my calculations based upon the 1 caller. I want to say play for set value, but there isn't much value with no callers in front. I still think I raise...

Re: extracting max/losing min

I most likely play TT for set value here and limp. If I raised, I would make it 50 instead of 80 to keep the pot small.

The flop bet if fine as you have shown strength and the BB checked to you....
