Re: \"Used\" Engagement ring
Keep the ring somewhere safe, when you get engaged again use the diamond in a new setting (let your engaged help select it if you like).

Re: Carling Cup / FA Cup
Carling Cup is only for the teams in the first 4 levels of English football. That would be the Premiership, Championship and 1st and 2nd Division.

Re: World Cup Soccer Futures
The seeding is probably going to stay the same as last time and that would put the USA 10th (so not seeded...) Here's the link

Re: doctor\'s visit cost?
I can't speak generally, but my checkup (if I had not had insurance) would have been $200 plus another $150 for the blood work.

Re: Ashes Test III Thread
I have an ignorant question... I know the basics of cricket, but I was reading BBC's coverage this morning and they said that Australia needed to last 44 overs for a draw. How exactly is it...

in 14+2 the $14 is the part that is given as prizes, and the $2 is the fee that the organization giving the tourney takes.

Re: Beginners tables?
they are what they say they are, tables for beginners /images/graemlins/smile.gif I believe that you are only allowed to play on them if you have had a real money account for 45 days or less.

Re: Going to D.C. next week
Another good place for a view is the Kennedy Center. You don't need to have tickets to shows or anything to go and you get a nice view of the waterfront. Also, if your son is old enough and a lover...

Re: hand from Pacific Trout final table
I was the villain in this hand, and I played this hand just @#%$&^#% horribly.
I raised the flop and bet the turn on a bluff (I had Ac 6h) and then just gave it up on the river when you weren't...

Overpair question
From Pacific Trout: Blinds 15/30 I've been pretty tight thus far, no real read on the villain.
I hold TT
UTG calls, 3 folds, hero raises to 120, all fold to UTG who calls.
Flop: 5...

Re: Turn decision AQ?
Thanks everyone. My reasoning was about the same as y'all. I did fold the turn and watched the two players split the pot with AJo. I was pretty sure folding was the right call there, but I was...

Turn decision AQ?
1/2 on Party. Can't get the hand converter to work, but there isn't that much to type anyhow. Table is pretty tight for 1/2, both villains just sat down. (7 players)
