Re: KK & AA hand. I thought they were interesting
Good point. It depends a little on who check-raised I guess. If BB did it, and MP1 and MP2 both fold, I would probably call. If either MP1 or MP2 calls 2 cold I'm not calling. If MP2 check-raises...

Re: ohnoes!! O_O
You raised the flop and it got checked to you on turn. The turn wasn't scary so I think now you have to bet it. It may fold a weak J, and you don't want to give overcards a free card. Fold to a raise...

Re: KK & AA hand. I thought they were interesting
OP said the table was generally loose. Hand 1: The pot is good sized, and I don't think A/images/graemlins/club.gif3/images/graemlins/club.gif will fold before the river with four to the flush. I...

Re: QJo in MP2...
Why should this be raised? I'm having trouble with a way-too-low PF raise %. Is it hoping to get the blinds with no flop? If I could get this stuff straight it would certainly help me getting my PF...

Re: The longer it went on the worse it got......
I am probably far off on this one, but I would get out facing the 3-bet on the turn. By that time you have to put in 2 big bets to see the river, and with all that raising you also run the risk of CO...

Re: Easy bet here?
Maybe I have things mixed up, but a bet on the turn as a semi-bluff doesn't make sense to me. If Button is loose-passive he probably won't fold, so there really isn't much value in the chance of...

Re: cost of hopping tables?
[ QUOTE ]
What I'm wondering is if maybe I'm paying a premium for all this hopping around?
[/ QUOTE ]
No. As long as you don't post blinds early when you enter a new table and don't leave...

Re: 36K checkup
Thanks for the feedback. Seems like you all agree that my lack of aggression is my biggest leak. I'll do some raising and post back in 10k or 20k hands.

Re: 36K checkup
I haven't been raising much as the first one in from middle and late position. If I fix this it should bring it up a bit, but will this be enough? Any ideas of what else is usually beginners mistakes...

36K checkup
I've been reading the forum since I started playing a few months ago, and thought this was the time to post for the first time. I now have 36k hands in PT. The stats are an aggregate of my games at...
