Re: 10-20 QQ

so, the turn, i've called his $600 raise.
he bets...

10-20 QQ
i continually read that a distinguishing ability of winning high limit players is their ability to fold overpairs in certain situations. i feel like this is one of those situations.
this may be...

Re: top pair oop
i agree with this. you raised, and (more or less) made your hand. the turn is where you must decide if you want to showdown. because he's fairly short, if you decide to call the turn, tap him on...

Re: 2/4 hand, KJs makes nut flush on paired board
i raise preflop to $14 or $15, and i probably look him up on the river. unless he has a set of 2's, or possibly 8's, i think you're good. more than likely, he made a smaller flush. that's my $0.02.

Re: Flop a joint, river pairs board
there's no way i'm folding here. if villian is going to just call with a set on the flop and turn with a board full of draws, well, you'll get his money later.
i really think you're way ahead. ...

Re: Playing a set OOP (200NL 6-max)
yeah i'd be all in on the turn. your all in is less than a pot sized bet, so i see no need to wait until the river to get it all in. it doesn't appear that MP is folding, so go ahead and get it in...

Re: 2 hands from foxwoods $2-5

1. i called his all in, anticipating i would take his money
2. we take each others money in our weekly home game, so this...

bet $2.50 on the flop.
if he calls, then you can consider check/folding the turn and river.
