Re: Marginal hand?
Do you guys always 3-bet in this situation? I 3-bet usually but sometimes I just call.
Postflop u played it fine. Betting out the river is good, he can't check behind and u only lose 2 bets if...

Re: The free showdown
I agree, this play is pretty powerful. Even with lesser holdings than middle pair + flush draw it's still +EV i think, for instance with middle pair. Some differences though, u can't really call if...

Re: Lots of money in a blind steal
I can't either see much value in raising the turn, since he'll call u down close to 100%.
The only advantage I can see is that he'll go on major tilt if you hit your draw on the river...

Re: SB defensing... (PP 10/20)
Why do you have to c/r this river. Villain will check behind with a lot of hands that he'll call a bet with, b/c of the 4 straight.
I would also bet this river and expecting a call from overpairs,...

Looking for a post by Schneids
I'm looking for a post by Schneids which discussed what flop play really is about. I don't have a time range either, but I would guess approx a year ago.
I just can't get this search engine to...

I usually raise the flop when it's co-ordinated b/c very often he reraises and bets the turn, which give you another couple of bets. Both options is good ánd it's good to mix...

How to adjust your play when having a bad session
Last night I had this really bad session where a lot of my good hands got cracked. I've been having a lot of problems recovering from bad starts and would like some advice.
Let's say I've had a...

Re: Simple or complicated river? 10/20
I would bet and call a raise. Don't like c/r because he might check behind when the ace hits.
Maybe I'm weak for wanting cheap information, but if i c/r and get reraised it feels like the...

I would bet out on the river b/c i think there is a reaonable chance he'll check behind on the river.
Since u called 2 cold on turn you got to have something, and if he has a 5, the most logic...

Re: ugly 99 hand
Well played, no reason to splash any more chips in this pot. Him 3-beting on this ragged flop must mean you're beat.
Btw, if he was bluffing he earned that pot anyway /images/graemlins/smile.gif....

Nothing wrong with trying the move on turn, but I would've folded preflop. I also can't see myself calling the flop, unless I've decided in advance to c/r the turn. However, those moves works best...

Since he coldcalled 2 flopbets he has to have something. Still, I think a turn bet is positive since he might have PP below K or a worse king, plus u don't want to...

Villain had ATo and MHWNG. I have no idea what possessed him to check the river - maybe he thought I'd fall for the c/r, maybe he put me on exactly AQ. He was very erratic.
