Re: Late in tourney.....late position
Calling the 5000 raise is absurd. With your stack it's either push or fold. What did you think he was going to do after the flop?
And after calling the 5000, you had no choice but to put the rest...

Re: So I\'m the chip leader...SB playalong
Since this is a $5 party MTT, any number of hands could have called the min raise preflop, and I doubt any of them were AK. I'd be a little worried about AJ and possibly AQ, but I'd throw a decent...

Re: Super Monday bustout hand...
Depending on your read of this guy, that preflop re-raise would make me worried about a pocket pair. The 700 bet on the flop seems a little fishy after the raise to 1100 before the flop, so I can see...

Re: AQs UTG--What would you do?
If villain had a smaller stack I'd call, but I don't want to bust out of the tourney by calling an all-in with AQ preflop, even if it is a coinflip. In a 5+.50 with 30 players left, I'd still like my...

Re: Am I a donkey?
My general rule of thumb with QQ is that if I get re-raised preflop, I will simply call (unless it's a push, then I gotta think about that one a bit more). It depends on what reads I have on villain....

Re: TPTK level 1
i agree with gump...i fold...either he has 2 pair or you're a slight favorite but he has a bunch of outs to suck out on you. the large bet means that this guy probably hit 2 pair and wants to protect...

Re: Introducing myself....Custom Chip Labels
I am from Louisville (my college is in Ohio, but I am in Louisville for much of the year). Where is your store located? That is awesome, though...did you have anything to do with that poker kiosk in...

Re: AQs vs. min raise
Exactly...if someone min raises with AA or KK, then they deserve to get their hand busted by QJ if they hit their set and get beat by the straight.

Re: AQs vs. min raise
Lucky they're not min raising with AA or KK...I've seen a lot of dummies doing that.

Thought you were busy in your $1 tourney this morning? You made 1000 and you're playing in the Big Buck tourney on paradise? Shut up.

Re: Stop Banning me you Mother FUCKERS
Just checked out that tourney page...congrats on your 51 cent profit and for coming in 70th against a bunch of people with nothing better to do than play in a $1 tourney. Might as well do play money.

Re: KQ>>??
Speaking of the min. pf raise...I have noticed A LOT of people min. pf raising with AA or KK in EP in a full ring...idiots. I'm always cautious of those raises now, but I sure love seeing a cheap...

Re: Backdoor flush?
It is very possible he backdoored it. He might have AJ, checked his 2 pair on the flop. But I think it's more likely he has the flush or he slowplayed a bigger set.

Re: why don\'t more hands turn out this way??
SAME exact thing happened to me today with 77. The diamond flush and everything. Villain had nut flush on the flop and let me see the turn for free (7), I bet and he just called...river was a 7....
