Re: Name Pros/Cash games they play in?
It's funny how everyone says they feed off the "whales" that come to play with them. I usually take 2 trips to vegas a year for 2-3 weeks each trip usually in conjuction with the 5 diamond and the...

Re: 30/60 Canterbury hand
Well...I'm with Lawrence Ng and I_am_B on this one. Why do so many posters on here have the approach of "I have AK, CLEARLY I have the best hand, I am giving up too much equity if I don't 3 bet...

KK Killpot Kurse...2 30/60 hands
Game is Potowatami 20/40 with a half kill...lately kill pots seem to be killing me as I always seem to be picking up AA and KK in these and getting my head knocked in with them. Last night was no...

Re: Odd little 30/60 hand (or wtf am I doing?)
Had the button not been a drunk would you have given any thought to 3-betting preflop with 4 limpers already in there??? You may knock out the button as well as some of the limpers putting dead...

Re: Have I gone completely mad? KJs hand
Ian-
Why do I feel like if Mike L. had posted this hand everyone would be talking about how genious the play is??? As one poster already stated, the flop decision is very close...with calling...

Re: 15-30, no read, what\'s the default?
I have to agree with Steveyz on this one, I think CO would probably come in raising with any ace, though he could have been slowplaying a big hand preflop hoping to get some action. Though IMO most...

Re: About Mattias Anderson
Like I said to all before...I agree with most of you that Mattias acted like an ass in my opinion. This is even tougher for me to say because I've played a lot of poker with him and got to spend a...

About Mattias Anderson
I just finished reading the long thread about Mattias Anderson and thought I would make a seperate post knowing a bit more about him and for those wondering. I've been playing with Mattias for about...

Re: QJs: ugly, ugly hand
Usually at these limits I would say your thinking is right if it had been a limp-reraise from EP...many times they may have 89 suited and get some callers and now decide they are going to build a...

Re: Low flush draw
Your flop play is great here...it's your turn play that was horrible. You flop an open end straight+flush draw and have heavy action in front of you, might as well reraise. You get down to heads up...

Re: JJ vs. multiple opponents & overcards
I would tend to lay this down here virtually every time as well. It's a horrible turn card and now your opponent has sprung to life. Heads up this would be a very tough call down as well seeing...

Re: Flopped set
Yeah, I 3 bet this turn here. There's only 3 possible holdings that beat you and I can assure you that you aren't against JJ or QQ and I'm not so worried about KT until I get 4bet after 3betting the...

Re: Flopped set vs. possible straight
I'd have popped this one more time on the turn, I don't believe UTG has a straight here, I'm even inclined to say he has Ax clubs or possibly Q9. Most Party 2/4 players I think would wait until the...

Re: Bellagio 30-60 hand
I think a significant factor I didn't point out was that UTG folded for only one more bet on the flop. Sb's cold call is surely to entice him in not suspecting him to fold for just one more bet on...

Re: Bellagio 30-60 hand
The Sb's calling two cold on that flop would throw on the sirens in my head. Since you say he is a bad player I think there is no value in raising him on the turn...you've caught one of the best...

Re: not him too...
I highly doubt that this is a default play for Barry, in fact I'm sure it's not. Why do people get so crazy when someone attempts to take a different approach to a hand? Does everyone here think...
