I don\'t see how any moral issue arises.
This is probably a stupid question, but do the online sites have a rule prohibiting the use of bots?
Secondly, for it to be morally wrong, wouldn't there first have to be at least an accepted rule...

Re: i thought you played this terribly
[ QUOTE ]
No, I hate suited connectors in pots where anyone besides me is doing the raising. I'd fold it in a heartbeat. In fact, i can't remember the last time I coldcalled any preflop raise with...

Here\'s the most obvious problem
Monday -$500
Tuesday +$750
Wednesday +$400
Thursday -$250
Friday +$850
Saturday -$450
Sunday in church, no gambling.
I don't think there are very many games where the swings are...

I don\'t see this as being money laundering
The main purpose of money laundering is to create a plausible source for ill-gotten gains, primarily cash. Once money gets into the electronic account, they don't need to give anything away -- the...

What is your source for this?
I get the basic idea here, I think. Most of the sums, when spoken (or thought) have the same stress & vowel length pattern as "hammer red", the exceptions being 101 and 128, so it stands to reason...

Re: Clarification on the low
No. A hand is classed by it's highest card. So 49732 is a 9, 35762 is a 7. If you're tied, look at the next highest card. You guys go into triple overtime. After 7 you're tied. Then you both...

Re: Informal, unscientific poll....
I think it's beyond rational debate. For me, the truly interesting question is, did Bush have any other (or at least, any bigger) motivation for running for president than to invade Iraq once...

Re: how to read 2+2
The guitar approach would be great, except not too many opponents will let you stop after the flop (let alone let you go and do it again).
My view is that you really have to immerse yourself in...

Re: Basic 08 situation I\'m unclear on: top trips
A's are more dangerous than K's because they represent a low card, and because there are very few combinations of flops with an A where three aces are the nuts, because they double the number of...

Re: Turbo Texas Hold\'em
Hi Mason,
Here's my guess(es):
1. "Likely" is less than 100%
2. You still have the six outs that let you bet
3. You have four of five outs (pairing up non-flush) that might win if you both...

I don\'t understand that.
Did David's book reveal some previously undiscovered ideas that render advice in Suzuki's book wrong? If a book is an 8, shouldn't it still be an 8 even though a 10 comes along?

Re: Would you mention poker in a job interview?
Hi Henke,
Back in the pre-internet poker days, I kept my poker background under wraps in job interviews and remained unemployed for about nine months. After a particularly meaningless interview,...

Re: I just lost a little respect for Joe Gibbs
The problem isn't Snyder's character; it's his belief that he knows more about football than people who've been coaching since before he was born. He insists on signing players who don't fit into...

I just lost a little respect for Joe Gibbs
If I'd had to make a list of coaches that I thought would never work for Dan Snyder, I gotta say that I would have put Joe Gibbs right alongside Vince Lombardi. I read his book 4th and 1 when it...
