Re: \"not available\"
Please tell me you listed your street address as
"12 Bornwitha" or
"64 Straightenmee" or
"22 Useenmi"
Jokes aside, I doubt the validity of address information to begin with. I've noticed some...

\"not available\"
Why do some players on empire have their city of origin listed as "not available"? Is there a setting for this withing the software, or did these guys simply not provide the data to empire?
Thanks

another starting out question
Is it necessary to give your address to the poker sites in order to transfer money? If the poker site form is left "blank" will your transfer requests fail?
Thanks a lot.

Re: B&M 15/30 QJs steal?
Calling the flop c'raise and raising the turn has merit imho. From the games I have played in (all B&M), the BB c'raising this flop doesn't really amount to much. Any pair, the flush draw, the A of...

B&M 15/30 QJs steal?
Great game. Loose and passive the whole way. The villain in this hand is a local dealer who is playing tighter than most, but still too loose (unsuited broadways from early position, suited gappers...

Re: Zee question
Thanks a bunch for the advice.
My feeling after 50 or so hours is that I'm probably a slight dog vs. the tight regulars, but a favorite vs. the 2 or 3 bad players that seem to be in each game....

Re: Zee question
Thanks for the reply.
Just to clarify, the 20-25 BB limit is per session. This sounds like a plain-jane bankroll question, but for me it's a little bit different.
Let's assume that 25 BB's per...

Zee question
Am I falling prey to reason #5?
I've recently decided to take a shot at the 10/20 B&M. Given the general uncertainties when moving up, 20-25 BB's is about all I am willing to lose in a given...

Re: boring hand, but whats your default play
I think he is only going to call a turn bet with hands that beat me here. And I doubt he is laying down an A. I'm not so happy giving him a free shot at what may be 2 outs, but I'm also behind here...

Mirage 10/20. Loose but not crazy player limps UTG, mirage regular raises from early middle, loose player cold calls on his immediate left, I 3-bet KK from the button, blinds fold and others call. 4...

Re: crummy game, crummy play
I'm not sure the SB folds often enough to make this play profitable. Does the typical 10/20 player fold QQ or JJ on this turn? Say the range of hands I put him on is AA-TT, AK-AJ.
AA, KK, TT, and...

Re: crummy game, crummy play
All 3 streets to be honest.
Here were my thoughts at the time:
On the flop I was getting approx 11-1 on a call and 5.5-1 on a raise. A call seemed worthless as it would not define my hand at...

Mirage 10/20, 6 handed. Game is pretty tight, except for 1 psuedo LAG 2 seats to my right. He seems to be liberal with bets/raises on the cheap streets, but slows down on the turn. New player posts...

mirage 10/20, TT hand
Good 10/20 at the Mirage. A couple players cold calling raises preflop with suited connectors, KTs, etc, then calling down with middle pair. My image is probably super-tight at this point (haven't...
