Re: Watch me play 100 hands of 2/4 6m.
Not a comment on the play since it hasn't downloaded yet for me - but have you tried compressing the file with zip for transfers? Or does the Xvid codec compress it as much as possible and zipping it...

Re: A Geometry/Perspective Question
I think there are two issues that are causing confusion on this:
1) Do you want to know the point in 3D space? If so, then there is not enough info
2) When you say "using only the 3 points", do...

Re: A Geometry/Perspective Question
They are not the same pixels, not to mention that the line on the top edge of the top image is relatively flat, and the same top edge in the bottom image is clearly not flat.
Looking at the edges,...

Re: A Geometry/Perspective Question
I have to go out to dinner with my wife soon, but I will try to write up a full proof and accompanying Photoshop image with diagrams - but basically you connect the top right and the bottom left...

Re: A Geometry/Perspective Question
That is 100% true if you wanted to find the point in 3D space - but not if you wanted to find the point in that photo (2D space). As I read the post, he is interested only in the 2D space and not the...

Re: A Geometry/Perspective Question
Just draw a line parallel to the bottom line and extend it out to the right (through the guy).
Then draw a line parallel to the right side and extend it out towards the floor).
Where they...

Re: odds of quads getting beat by quads
Thank you very much for taking the time to do that and for explaining the logic on it - I appreciate that.
As for trying to get my money back - it was at PokerRoom and as far as I know they don't...

Re: odds of quads getting beat by quads
The equation for getting beat by higher quads is pretty easy I think.
There are 13 different values for the four of a kind (2,3,4...A).
I held the 5, so that left 3 (2,3,4) smaller than me, and...

odds of quads getting beat by quads
Last night had quad 5s. Showdown came, beat by quad 7s. Each of us were dealt a pair and then two showed up on the table.
I realize that if you are considering this sort of thing, quad 5s are at...

I think he "recently" posted about getting a job at Google (Gmail) and moving away from playing poker as his way of making money.

Re: playing on more than one table
Note that if you are on a laptop, then you can't really change the resolution (and certainly not higher).
Also, if you can't do a higher resolution, it tends to be an issue with the video card and...

I haven't used PokerGrapher, so I don't know all of the features that it has. But if you mainly want to create a chart of your hands by amount won in $ or BB, then you can do it with PT, Excel, and...
