Re: Announcing the RGP Open (MTT Series)

Thank you. The big sites would have been quite happy to host it, but they didn't want to talk about re-coding their software for one series of events /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, at least you didn't leave triple draw out like the WSOP did this year.

I think running events concurrently when you have plenty of time not to is silly. But...

Re: A previously \"well-respected\" MTT cheating team...

Whatever. I'm done with this thread, these fools obviously don't care.

Back to RGP.

Wow. And all this time I thought that you guys here at '4' had some class. You're all doing a great job of proving otherwise.

Re: A previously \"well-respected\" MTT cheating team...

King of the Off Deuce is a highly respected poster on RGP. To jump all over him for this post is in bad form. Did you even read the link? Jerrod freely admitted to cheating!

Re: H.O.R.S.E. tournament on Full Tilt

There is a password simply because the H.O.R.S.E. tournament format is still in beta-testing mode. Since Perry Friedman is an RGP-er, he offered to let RGP test out the format, and we were more than...

Re: Bet this river?

Given your prior play (and no, Q3s is not an acceptable hand to play UTG on any table), by all means bet the river. Call a raise. Entity mentionned that the only raising hand you beat is J6, but I...

Re: middle pair weak kicker

Of course.

You have position, and you flopped a mid-pair, weak kicker.

If you get check-raised, you may consider folding, but at many of the micro-limit tables I play, the flop bet will take...

Re: one more thing

Still no.

With J6 off, you are exactly a 50% favourite heads-up against a random hand. This includes trash like 5-2o.

You are in the money in the MTT, but the percentage payouts only increase...

Re: Why would someone do this?

Maybe he really sucks at HU?

8000 : 5500 chips isnt a huge advantage depending on thie blinds. Easy one hand swing.

That being said, if I had 8000 chips, I'm going all the way for first place....

Re: Overcalls or raise?

Then he is a terribly weak player, and even if you lose to the flush on this hand, you will make it back and more later on against him.

Re: Getting a piece of the Flop with crap in the BB

Fold.

As detailed in HEPFAP, if there had been a PF raise, and for whatever reason you had called with J3o, THEN you are getting pot odds to call with bottom pair. Since there was no PF raise,...

Re: KJ in BB (First Post)

I find this on both micro-limit (especially the bad beat tables) on Party, as well as the 1/2 tables at TruePoker.

I admit that it is more rare than not to find players who will raise PF with...

Re: Check the turn or no?

If you check/call the turn, you have to check/call the river since it didnt help you out. I would check/call check/call myself.

Re: KJ in BB (First Post)

We must play in very different micro-limit games then, because a PF raise in my games does NOT mean a power hand. I often see PF raises with hand as bad as J8o, 22, 76s etc.

You also have to know...

Re: KJ in BB (First Post)

Axs, yes.

Axo, depending on reads. Usually not as you will lose more money to a better kicker than you will make when the A flops.
