Re: $2/4 vs. $3/6? Educate me
Blinds are 2 and 3 instead of 1 and 2
I would NEVER play at 2/4 as the rake eats you alive...3/6 at the LEAST and 4/8 if you are rolled for it.

Some 5/10 tables can be pretty lively, playing like loose 3/6 tables at...

Re: Stainless steel cards
I'd imagine any moisture/spill would create a surface tension bond between the cards and make the deck very tough to work with.
Shuffling/Briding/etc could be tough...

Re: home cash game question
Players should be allowed to come and go as they please... there shouldn't be a "preset" ending time. My home game typically starts around 8pm and has been known to run till 8am at times......

Re: The Perfect Chipset?? --amounts of each color

IF...

Re: Moneymaker at Resorts East Chicago Last Night

Re: Dealing with the (sick) gambler
I feel ya man.. trust me.
I'm not a career player... I'm also not a high limit guy (5/10 in Tunica is my game) but I've actually stepped down to 4/8 for the time being because I can't even beat...

Re: Starting requirements for a home game
A very easy fix for the "shuffing eats time" problem is to run two decks. We don't need to anymore as our game has settled in nicely and the dealer knows to pay attention and get the hand cranked...
