Default Re: Dealing with the (sick) gambler

I feel ya man.. trust me.

I'm not a career player... I'm also not a high limit guy (5/10 in Tunica is my game) but I've actually stepped down to 4/8 for the time being because I can't even beat that right now... a losing player at 4/8 over the last 2-3 months...sad. Dropped two $200 pots to the case ace on the river in my last 6 hour session. It's getting comical. I've just taken a month away from the rooms, hit the gym, gotten outside a little more, basically just enjoyed the ass end of summer.

Now that it's getting good and cold again I'm ready to hit the tables and hopefully the heaters at the Gold Strike and Horseshoe will have warmed the cards up for me in my absence....

It's tougher to just "take a break" when you're relying on the game for rent, but there is a happy medium...
Good luck to ya.
