Mark Brunell one of the top 5 QBs?
A friend of mine suggested that he would have a difficult time putting 5 QBs ahead of Burnell. Granted this person is a die hard Skins fan, and like most Skins fans he lacks common football sense/knowledge. After thinking about what he said for a few minutes I told him that I have him ranked between 12th-14th. He told me that I was crazy.
Now granted Burnell has had a great start this year and has thrown 12 TDs and 2 INTs (it does help the stats playing the 49ers and the Chiefs). Stats are not everything and I was curious on what other people thought about Burnell and how they would rank him. Any thoughts or comments?

I think 12-14th is just about right. A case can be made that he is top 5 in the NFC right now, but not in the all of the NFL. There are probably about 6 or 7 QB's in the AFC alone that I rank above Brunell.

that was hard... (Disclaimer: This is just a random list that popped in my head of QBs I think are better than Brunell. In no way are they in any order or do I think they are the top 5 QBs so please don't try and start anything.)

Right now, this season, he is one of the top 5 or 6 QBs in the league.

In fantasy numbers, he is top 5 in passing yards (avg around 250yds), completions and non-INT's. I am glad I am starting him this week. Now this is due to the ridculous runs by Santana Moss but he is still a reborn QB.
