I managed to flop top pair once in 52 hands.

Amazingly enough Doc Savage kicked my ass. He did a very good job of folding his SB everytime I had a good hand preflop. Damn Pattern maps.

I was hoping that at least she would take better care of my chips once she finally got them.

I think you took it all out of me with that battle, I played pretty rough in the next round, I'll try to do better with your chips next time, should that ever occur, although in fairness I was already being ground down before I made my error.

Congrats to ohkanada, who took first when he turned a straight flush (which also made my A high flush and sealed my doom).

Had a lot of fun.

Well done to OhKanada, a long overdue victory in the kotz and hopefully the start of a good run of 2nd places

Can someone please post an order of finish. If I open a poker client from work I am fired.

Thanks

Thanks way.

Couldn't find myself in a better situation than that on the last hand.

Long over due is the understatment of the year.

Just came back from Vegas and couldn't catch a break if I tried. Finally against Jedi, my A6 caught up and passed his A8 which brought me back from death.

Thanks,
Ken

Seriously, that HU match was the toughest I've ever played. No one really budged and we went back and forth between being even and a 3-2 chip lead. I had him all-in with A6 vs. my A8 on an Ace high flop and he turned a six to knock me down in the chip count, but even with that, I managed to fight back and take over the chip lead for what seemed like a long time. He then took the chip lead back from me and I wound up pushing all-in with KQ and he called me with A5. No help for either of us, and I took home a 3rd place finish which I'm very happy with.
