"In either case this is limit and from what I've heard around 2+2 phil is pretty much a NL tourney specialist and his limit game isn't very strong."

I played Phil a couple of hours H2H $10-20 LH a few years ago on Paradise. He seemed to have a solid game to me. I would have played longer, but I had Lesley spell me so I could use the bathroom. She asked me who I was playing.

pussywhippedhusband: Some guy?
she who must be obeyed: Some guy with the handle "PhilHell"?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....
she who must be obeyed: Did you ask him if he was Phil Helmouth?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....
she who must be obeyed: Ah..Let me guess....it is?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....

chat:

MS Sunshine: I'm sorry, but my husband is not allowed to play heads-up with anyone with more WSOP braclets than himself.

PhilHell: That's OK. I understand. How many braclets does he have?

MS Sunshine: None

PhilHell: lol

And the cherry on top of this sundae, was there were several 2+2ers watching. With the usual ratio of hecklers/supporters of about 4-1. They were very brutal in the weeks that followed.

For the few times I have seen PhilHellmuth play at UB has already made me 90% sure he is a fish, until it's limit holdem heads up, that he played with the correct tempo. His book as far as I know supports my opinion. Just wondering how he won all those titles he has, though I know many such players are not top players, but Phil has been there often enough to must have something.
