Default Hellmuth goes nuclear

I've been watching him play High Limit games on UB HU. First he lost $15k to Thomas Keller playing 200/400 HE, then another $15k to Legendary on 200/400 O/8. He's still playing O/8 vs. Legendary with $6k. He was bitchin' out Keller too, good stuff.

15k in a 200/400 game isn't really that much.

classic case of the older players not adjusting to the new school.

Last time I checked, if I lose like 40BB in a HU match I'm getting my ass kicked.

In either case this is limit and from what I've heard around 2+2 phil is pretty much a NL tourney specialist and his limit game isn't very strong.

I played Phil a couple of hours H2H $10-20 LH a few years ago on Paradise. He seemed to have a solid game to me. I would have played longer, but I had Lesley spell me so I could use the bathroom. She asked me who I was playing.

pussywhippedhusband: Some guy?
she who must be obeyed: Some guy with the handle "PhilHell"?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....
she who must be obeyed: Did you ask him if he was Phil Helmouth?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....
she who must be obeyed: Ah..Let me guess....it is?
pussywhippedhusband: Yeahhhh.....

chat:

MS Sunshine: I'm sorry, but my husband is not allowed to play heads-up with anyone with more WSOP braclets than himself.

PhilHell: That's OK. I understand. How many braclets does he have?

MS Sunshine: None

PhilHell: lol

And the cherry on top of this sundae, was there were several 2+2ers watching. With the usual ratio of hecklers/supporters of about 4-1. They were very brutal in the weeks that followed.

If I had the game to play a WSOP champ, it would be cool to do just to say I've done it. How'd you do?

Y'have it? he asks me. Sorry JOHN, I don't remember. I got up and walked straight to the cashier. I sat with the best in the world, Knish, and I won.
