without the Q , i would likely fold on the flop.

You will hit runnerrunnerflush 1/25 so it isnt that big difference but yes, a little. More important, I think, is that since there is 2 diamnonds SB could be betting a draw.

I agree with most others, fold this flop is weak.

i'm not so concerned about getting runner-runner. the big difference is that with no Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], you can spike your set with said q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and lose to a flush on the same card. with it, that cannot happen. so, with the q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], you have 1 more absolutely clean out than without it. that does make a difference IMO.

cheers!

You have about the equivilent of 4 outs here with 13:1 overlay so you've got 10.5:1 on a 13:1 pot. Slim overlay, and yes you have very good implied odds, but you can also get creamed if you spiked queen completes a gutshot or if you turn a queen and they river a flush. You're very vulnerable to redraws on this board, and add in the fact your hand is very likely no good currently I fold.

yes you are probably not ahead here
yes you could be drawing very very slim
yes there are redraws against you

all that is true, but you still must raise because the pot is very big and you don't need much of a chance to be ahead to make this right

of course you cannot just call this flop, i agree
