Default Re: Inside the Poker Mind - 2 THUMBS UP!

Just a short 2 months after I first posted here, I have finished reading just about every book that was suggested to me and I must say that I enjoyed all of them. However the first book 'Minds' I believe was the one that helped me the most. Any other suggestions as to what books to read, I would really appreicate.
Yours,
MasterMmmm(ichael)

i guess i'll just add my two cents also. frankly, i wish i would have started this thread, as the book is absolutly fantastic. by far, the section that has improved my game the most is the section on tilt. amazing. things that, over time, i would have eventually realized were brought forth qickly and saved me numerous mistakes, not to mention cash. realizing that i made the correct play (and being satisfied with that), even if i don't win the pot, has made me a much better player.

Thanks John.

Default What is your Favorite Book List?

Assuming you are asking me what books I have read, I will list them out here.

Inside the Poker Mind - Sklansky and Feeney
Super/System - Doyle
Tournement Poker for Advance Players - Sklansky
Caro's Fundemental Secrets for winning Poker - Caro

And one other that I can not remember the name of right now. I have read all the above in the past 30 days, but I plan on going back and re-reading them again. On Super/System I actually read only the generic and hold em sections.

Now I am reading: Play Poker Like the Pros - Hellmuth, Jr.

Would anyone care to add to my list of reading by telling me your favorite book list?

Thanks!

You REALLY need to add:

Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players by Sklanksy & Malmuth

Theory of Poker by Sklansky

And probably this one when it comes out in a week:

Small Stakes Hold'em by Miller, Sklansky, & Malmuth
