Default Re: Empire Freerolls

did you check both tourneys (the 2k and the 3k)??
maybe you accidentaly were looking in the wrong one or maybe you qualified for the higher one and didn't know it.

also, make sure you have the names listed in alphabetical order.

they did not cut off the number of entrants.....there are less than 600 players in each....and the cut-off was 2000 players for each tourney.

so IF you really did play the required number of hands then you should be in.

obviously the hands needed to be played on empire on Monday (not since Monday.....but actually ON monday....anything before or after the midnight cut-off didn't count either)

any hands played on Tuesday or Wednesday or on party didn't count.

if you are logged-on to empire it should automatically take you to your table a couple minutes before the tourney starts.

you may still have time to call empire and ask what's going on.
you could try e-mailing them but it's likely you won't get a response in time.
i don't know if live-support is working there or not.

Thanks for the help. I did indeed play 317 hands ON Monday. I'm not on either the $2k or the $3k list. Live support isn't up and I haven't heard anything back by e-mail yet. Anybody got the phone number?

i don't know what to tell you then.

i would think that even at .5/1 you would have had enough hands to qualify.

you might have had a chance to find out what the deal was if you had caught it earlier.

bear in mind that 14th place to 60th place pays between $12-$28.....so unless you were going to win the whole thing you're not missing out on THAT much.
but it is a free tourney that you obviously should have qualified for so i understnad your frustration.

perhaps when they finally get back to you you'll find out that you only played 199 raked hands or something.

if you gripe about it vehemently enough they may give you some bonus-money to satisfy you. try asking for $30 bonus-dollars or an extra re-load bonus of 20% up to $100 or something like that.
you might just get it.

My stats on Monday at the $0.50/$1.00 tables showed that 63% of the hands were raked. So, at 317 hands, you were probably right around the 200 raked mark.
