That's a fair point. I guess what's worthy of debate depends on who's doing the debating.

Go with the Lincoln, and it's not close.

I think that all Yankee fans that are not from NY are weak little children deep down inside.

Can we officially call Connecticut a suburb and part of NY for the purpose of this thread?

The 2nd car is boss in this decision.

The Dude is a good new poster.

I think we have people intimidated by people with way too many posts. This should not happen. Especially if those people post in the zoo where your post count will triple with inane crap.

The problem is that we need to be willing debate everything - even things like raising jacks out of the blinds which we have already beat to death. Whenever someone brings up one of these old debates they are quickly told to shut up. That stifles debate in general.

[/ QUOTE ]

I will second this. Although, as an inexperienced player myself, I think the people who get the most out of these forums are the ones who are willing to develop thoughts about the hands they have played, post them, and be tough enough to put up with whatever responses they get. It's a skill to distinguish legitimate criticism from a bogus argument, but it's definitely one worth developing.

My #1 complaint about NYY fans. Actually my only one, most Yankee fans are very knowledgeable baseball people. Its the ones from Buckskin, Ohio or even worse East Boston that I hate.

As for the cars, I Like the Fury.

But what do I know, I drive a late model Camry.

Default The best way to learn

My pappy used to tell me a smart man learns from his mistakes. A fool never learns.

I vote for car #2.

First car question: Why are they called suicide doors?

The best way to learn is to get your ass handed to you.

[/ QUOTE ]

While this method may be very effective (cuz you WILL remember the lesson if you have any clue), but it's also the most expensive. If you can figure something out before you make the mistake, you're better off for it.

Besides, you can get your ass handed to you in a good debate.
