Default Poorly played flush

I know the turn play is especially bad -- Do you call the river? I couldn't really see him betting anything less than a bigger flush this way. (I had recently sat down, no stats on him).

..pot-commits himself on the turn with a large raise and doesn't have a river decision.

I call here.

This online right?

Does this player bluff? Has he ever got out of line? Now I'm leaning towards calling - simply because of the play of betting $10 on the turn into a pot of.. what, not much, unless here is someone who bets according to the strength of their hand.

He's also shortstacked; which is another consideration I take into account here. Now the possibility of the player making a play is considerably heightened.

Crying call.

The hand was played poorly from the start. I dont like calling pre-flop raises out of position. You obviously have the villain killed on the turn. He has TPTK most likely. I like to bet in front of him on the turn and hope to get raised. This is a good spot to get your money all in just in case he cant get away from his hand. If he shows you a higher flush...tough luck, thats poker. I do not like checking and calling in this situation.

I think you have to call the river bet. I'm not sure button really has it here. Anyone raise flop w/ the flush + gutshot draws? Raise turn for sure.

Fold preflop, bet/raise flop. Then the hand is played quite differently. As played I think he has higher flush because first he minbets flop then overbets when the flush hits, people are usually pretty straightforward on these levels.

if you're going to call the turn, you call the river

if you're going to call the turn, bet the turn instead

if you really, really insist on calling the turn, check-raise it instead
