Re: 5/10 Getting cold called holding a baby flush
AZK,
You said leading makes the hand easier. If you get raised what do you do? smooth-called and a blank on the turn? smooth-called and a spade on the turn? I can never seem to get away from underflushes, wondering if there's any way to get away from this one. |

Re: 5/10 Getting cold called holding a baby flush
It's a judgement thing, totally player dependent, there are infinite lines to take against opponents based on what they might have, what do you think he has? Some people you move in, some people you check-raise all in on turn, some people you lead again, etc, etc. It's too player dependent to decide, however, I do think, in most situations it's correct to lead in the first place.

Re: 5/10 Getting cold called holding a baby flush
I still like the flop check-raise. Allows you to commit almost all the money on the flop, and you don't have to worry about a scary turn.
As is, push your stack in. Think of it as a semi-bluff, as you still have one out. |
