More than just river AF, if you look at the line for river bet/raised/check-raised W$SD% you'll see 82%, which is far too high. I think something closer to 70% is optimal.

(Edited for clarity)

You're the same guy who posted about your winning streak a week ago, right?

Welcome to shorthanded poker.

You aren't results orientated much are you? You've only posted 4 times in the last week or so updating the board on your upswings and downswings.

Sorry, I just realized what I posted wasn't clear. What I meant was your river bet/raise/check-raise W$SD% is 82% which is too high, it means you're showing down the winner the vast majority of the time you bet/raise/check-raise. You can extract more value by doing this more often, as I'm sure you're missing several opportunities. I'm at 74% and I know I need to value bet more.

I play 8 hours a day, 5 days a week on a set schedule. So in that aspect I'm not results oriented.

As far as my posts though, i like to brag when im up and complain while im down. so shoot me.

Plus, I just recently moved to 6max about 3 weeks ago. Before that i played 250kish hands of full ring. So the streaks here are high enough to make me think that they are noteworthy, when alot of the time they arent.

Honestly, both that type of attitude and the problem you're talking about are things where you aren't going to get much advice/support around here if you continue. Bragging when you're winning and complaining when you're losing are somewhat natural responses, but no one here really wants to read or respond to those types of posts.

Post hands and hands you have questions on, but complaining about a one week downswing where you lost 370BB or whatever isn't really going to do anything for you or for anyone else.

Default I can

I'm at 1.3BB/100 after 50k hands
During those hands I've had one 490BB downstreak wich lasted over 14k hands....Took a 1 week break after 400BB down. Then started playing again and continued down. I really felt I played the same way all the time.

Any tips on BB defense? I generally defend with any Ax, K7+ Q8+ 78s+ and all pairs. Should i just lower my standards a bit and start defending like 2 cards lower? (K5 Q6 etc)

[/ QUOTE ]

Question.

Will you defend from a Button steal with:

T8s?
J7s?
K6s?
Q7o?

I think you should be. But sthief will chime in here with playing within your comfort zone and adding hands during a downswing isn't going to make you feel any better or put you back into winning poker anytime soon.

And he'd probably be right.
