Default Re: Banks that Accept Gaming Purchases (Credit / Debit Cards)

I have Providian, Capital One, and Wells Fargo. I can confirm that of the three, the only one that works is the Wells Fargo debit card.

Forgive my curiosity, but, uhh, what's wrong with gambling with your own money?

What Money? j/k

Nothing at all actually. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I am looking to get a new credit card as well as a debit card and was hoping that both are able to accept gaming transactions. BTW, I just opened a new bank account (before this thread) and found out after the fact that the debit card will not accept gambling transactions.

Thanks,

"Wow" .... this suddenly sounds a less than straight-forward post, what with the Exclamatory phrase and the " new info" out of the Blue.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am sorry if I came off as a spammer with the Wow's etc. I truly am just a fellow poker player with nothing to sell . I could edit my posts and make them "Hypo Wow" and "New info free"

[ QUOTE ]
I foresee spam coming on here about a "wonderful solution" this person "just learned about" ....

[/ QUOTE ]

The main reason I created this post is that I actually am personally looking for a credit card and debit card. I figured that fellow poker players could benefit from my research of what companies still allow gaming transactions (which seem few and far between) as there seem to be no lists of "gambler/poker player friendly" cards on the web. Also, I simply am a "net paranoid" person. That is why I use the anonymous screen name.

but if I am wrong, you can deposit cash directly into Neteller at Bank of America.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do you mean directly into their bank account then give them your Neteller account number? I did not know that. Thanks for the info.

I think I actually found a company! According to what I was told by a company product rep., Wells Fargo credit cards all still allow online gaming. I am in the process of signing up and I will keep the board posted when I actually make a successful deposit

Chase absolutely does NOT accept these charges, on either credit or debit card.
