Hey Guys!
This is my first post to the board. I am looking to get a new credit card and perhaps a new bank debit card. I want to be sure that the card accepts online gaming transactions. I did a search on google for a list of issuing banks that accept online gambling transaction but did not find anything. So far I have been able, through various articles, to start to complile a list of issuing banks that do not accept online gaming purchases. As follows: MBNA, Capital One, Providian Financial, Citibank. I am hoping that you guys can make a list of the issuing banks (Credit / Debit cards) that have worked for you (as of right now I have none). Thank you so much in advance, lucy |

Bank One no longer accepts online gambling transactions There are other ways around it though (Firepay).

Zwiggelte,
Thanks for the reply. I actually have used both firepay and neteller in the past. Unfortunatly, Neteller has been listed as an online gaming charge. I am not sure if this is for all cards (I would imagine so) or just by my issuing bank. I called Neteller (You are correct. They have great customer service.) and they told me that they are in fact listed as a online gaming charge. Therefore, unless I use the EFT option which I would like to avoid (Slow, etc.) I still need a credit/debit card that accepts online gaming transactions. Also, has anyone used a Chase Bank Visa or Mastercard for online gaming purchases? I am currently, looking to sign up with them as they have some great cashback bonuses Thanks again, Lucy Deucy |

Lucy Chase Bank declines gaming transactions. So does Direct Merchants bank and my BOA card is declined. I have heard some people have success with thier BOA checkcard however mine will not work, it may just be my state or local branch rules.

Wow, so far we have alot to add to the no list but none for the yes list. I have a few more to add to the no list: National City Bank, Fleet.
Surely somone on here is using a credit card to fund their online poker accounts. If you are and are lurking please take a minute to post your issuing bank. Thanks, Lucy Deucy |

"Wow" .... this suddenly sounds a less than straight-forward post, what with the Exclamatory phrase and the " new info" out of the Blue.
I foresee spam coming on here about a "wonderful solution" this person "just learned about" .... Consider this a pre-emptive post .... but if I am wrong, you can deposit cash directly into Neteller at Bank of America. Ted "Wow allergic" Geisel |
