If you buyin straight it's 1000+0 - they rake the satellites only. Of course, the average good player can probably win his way in for cheaper, if he wants to take the time.

Grand II had 516 players...first prize 129k.

Edited to say I probably have no business trying but I'm definitely going after Grand IV, whenever it happens.

Bugsy's Club has their 'WSOP warmup' tournaments that start with 10K chips and slow (for online) blind structure.

The UB tourneys over $100 have the deepest stacks and slowest structures IMO. You start with 2500 chips and the levels last 15 minutes. Sounds quick but UB typically gets 80 hands/hour plus the blinds rise very gently ala FullTilt and Absolute.

The VC thing is 1 table sng winner takes all effort with 6 players I dont see how playing deep stack mtt's is going to help him develop a strategy for this.

Prob better off playing Stars or Maybe UB sng's imho ideally 6 handed ones (I think VC site has six max sng's but not sure of the structure).
