Barring a specific read, you are giving way too little respect to those people who cap you preflop in hands 2 and 3. When someone caps you preflop they are likely to bet the flop and turn, so why not just call the flop and turn bets and maybe bet the river if the board isn't scary?
Hand 1: This looks OK. Hand 2: The preflop 3-bet is borderline. I only like to 3-bet with PP this low when the button will fold too much postflop or when my table image is strong and I'm getting too much respect. I like your flop lead, but when villian's raise gets you HU, it's time to go passive. Your hand is only mediocre based on the action. Hand 3: You were capped preflop. Give some respect here. It's OK to call down on a non-scary board, but why give any action that will allow your opponent to get extra bets in? BTW, I think most people highly respect your play and therefore will be less critical of your play because they don't want to appear dumb by saying they dislike how you play a hand. If an unknown poster were to post these same hands, he would have been ripped for his aggression level. |
